Oral Care Consultant / Territory Manager

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual interested in joining the commercial team that will help build a dental/oral heath technology startup from the beginning.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Commercial and scientific credibility in pediatric dental environments; must be able to present simple scientific/clinical/dental as well as commercial concepts credibly to dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, office managers, administrators and others

Responsibilities:
Planning: 
    • Identify and screen early adopter pediatric dental practices
    • Analyze customer performance (active vs inactive; sales/use per dentist)
    • Identification of key drivers of use/lack of use; reasons why
    • Contribute to the development of selling stories; analyzing issues and opportunities to further improve
    • Actively use & help maintain commercial CRM tools
Sales / Demand Generation:
    • Actively develop new & existing accounts
    • Physically visit, on average 5-10 pediatric dental clinics (or similar dental environments) per day to present, offer and obtain the sale of the portfolio of products.
    • Capturing initial orders and driving reorders directly and/or via commercial tools
    • Design and implement pilot initiatives with selected/strategic practices/partners for product/market fit, use case identification, clinical data and testimonials
    • Proactively ask for/obtain recommendations to activate new customers
    • Must be able to handle questions / objections with confidence while further understanding the needs of the customer/partner and while building trust and confidence in the brand and company
Sales / Marketing:
    • Help identify, contribute to and even lead in the development of needed sales and marketing materials and tools
Requirements:
  • 2-year minimum relevant professional commercial/promotional experience with Pediatric dentists; experience with a branded manufacturer preferred
  • Must always put first the importance of driving better health outcomes for people.  Must be outgoing, optimistic and naturally curious
  • Dental or Hygiene degree preferred
  • Documented sales/promotional results
  • Marketing skills, a plus
  • Must be able to work remotely with interdisciplinary
  • Team player who invites feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and internally driven
  • Highly organized, focused and results oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to client locations and occasionally visit the office
  • DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State
  • Proficiency in English is a requirement, as it allows us to communicate effectively with our external and internal partners
