    Job Summary:
    Abode TechZone, LLC is seeking an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable cloud-native data solutions that support enterprise data platforms, analytics, and application integrations.
    Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP services.
    • Build and optimize data solutions leveraging BigQuery , Cloud Spanner , and Firestore .
    • Develop ETL/ELT frameworks using Python and cloud-native technologies.
    • Create and manage workflow orchestration using Cloud Workflows and related GCP services.
    • Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources into centralized data platforms.
    • Optimize BigQuery datasets, queries, and storage architecture for performance and cost efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain data models, transformation logic, and data quality processes.
    • Collaborate with Data Architects, Application Teams, and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements.
    • Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
    • Ensure security, governance, and compliance standards are followed across data platforms.
    • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Technologies.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Expertise in: Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Firestore, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run.
    • Strong programming experience in Python.
    • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation frameworks.
    • Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills.
    • Experience with API integrations and event-driven architectures.
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
    • Understanding of data governance, security, and cloud best practices.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
    Preferred:
    • Experience with Dataproc, Composer (Airflow), and Looker.
    • Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
    • Familiarity with machine learning data pipelines.
    • GCP Professional Data Engineer Certification is highly preferred.
