Primary - MemSQL DBA, MySQL DBA - Must
Secondary - Oracle DBA (Must)

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MemSQL DBA to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing MemSQL clusters, ensuring optimal database performance, and troubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and scalability. You will collaborate closely with application developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that the database architecture aligns with the company's goals and scales efficiently under heavy workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
MemSQL Database Management:
Install, configure, and maintain MemSQL databases.
Monitor, diagnose, and resolve database issues related to performance, availability, and security.
Manage database clusters, ensuring they are running efficiently with minimal downtime.
Ensure data replication, backup, and restore procedures are in place and functioning correctly.
Performance Optimization:
- Analyze query performance and apply best practices for query optimization (e.g., indexing, sharding, etc.).
- Work with developers to write and tune efficient SQL queries.
- Diagnose and address performance bottlenecks across database, disk I/O, and network latency.
- Implement and optimize partitioning and indexing strategies to improve database performance.
- Review and improve MemSQL architecture to ensure it meets the growing demands of the application.
