Salary: 18.00

Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Location: Warrensburg, MO and surrounding areas
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour + 6% increase upon DSP Certification (optional)
Schedule: Flexible Part-time available
Reports To: House Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Help people with disabilities in their homes and out in the community.
  • Support people with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and getting dressed.
  • Help them reach their personal goals and do fun or meaningful activities.
  • Follow their care plans and help with behavior or medical needs as trained.
  • Keep good notes about what happens during your shift using a computer or phone.
  • Give medications after training and follow health rules.
  • Treat everyone with respect and help them make their own choices.
  • Keep the home safe, clean, and welcoming.
  • Drive people to appointments or outings when needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • Completion of all required training (provided by Abilities, LLC)
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn documentation systems


Compensation & Growth

  • Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
  • Optional DSP Certification: Earn an additional 6% pay increase immediately upon completion
  • Annual Reviews & Raises Every year you work with us
  • Paid training provided
  • $600 Total Sign-On Bonus: $100 at 30 days, $200 at 90 days, and $300 at 6 months.
