What You'll Do
- Develop technical and commercial proposals for biopharma manufacturing solutions.
- Interpret customer requirements and recommend optimal process and equipment solutions.
- Generate budgetary and definitive cost estimates, pricing, and proposals.
- Serve as a technical expert supporting customer meetings, presentations, and sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Management teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Review purchase orders and contracts for technical and commercial alignment.
- Support product launches, sales training, and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and project performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Travel globally up to 30%.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
- 5+ years of experience in biopharma capital equipment, bioprocess engineering, applications engineering, equipment design, or product management.
- Knowledge of bioprocess equipment such as:
- Single-Use Systems (SUS)
- Bioreactors and Fermenters
- Mixing Technologies
- Filtration Systems
- Chromatography Equipment
- Understanding of cGMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing and capital project execution.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate both technical and commercial business environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Applications Engineering, Product Management, or Bioprocess Engineering.
- ERP system experience.
- Foreign language proficiency.
- Experience supporting global customers and commercial opportunities.
