    Job Description

     

    Full-time Position: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
    Standard office hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time

    MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
    1. **STATE OF TEXAS EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY):**
    - professional work experience within the State of Texas
    - Previous work with Texas state agencies, municipalities, or entities subject to Texas administrative procedures
    - Understanding of Texas-specific procurement and contract requirements
    2. **IT & ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY):**
    - experience in IT-related or administrative roles
    - Strong proficiency with enterprise IT systems, databases, and software platforms
    - Experience managing administrative operations, documentation, and compliance workflows
    - Experience tracking metrics, performance data, and compliance documentation
    - Ability to maintain multiple complex databases and reporting requirements simultaneously
    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
    1. **HOUSTON HOUSING ALLIANCE (HHA) EXPERIENCE (HIGHLY DESIRED):**
    - Previous employment or contract work with Houston Housing Authority
    - Experience in public housing operations or HUD-funded programs
    - Familiarity with HHA''''''''s staffing needs, operational structure, and compliance culture
    - Understanding of HHA''''''''s specific systems, procedures, and relationship expectations
    2. **PUBLIC SECTOR EXPERIENCE IN TEXAS (HIGHLY DESIRED):**
    - experience in public sector environment (government agency, nonprofit serving public programs, public authority)
    - Prior contract management or vendor relationship experience with Texas public entities
    - Knowledge of government procurement and contract administration processes
    3. **ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:**
    - Prior human resources or staffing company experience (account management, recruitment operations)
    - Experience with temporary staffing or labor management
    - Background in housing, community development, or social services
    - Project management certification or experience

    Flexibility required: Must be available for urgent HHA staffing requests that may occasionally require evening/early morning communication
