Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures using CR, DR, and PACS systems.
Use independent judgment in imaging, positioning, and technical factor selection.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
Comply with OSHA standards, infection-control practices, and body-substance isolation guidelines.
Operate and troubleshoot PACS, HIS, and RIS systems to support imaging workflows.
Participate in training, quality improvement initiatives, and maintenance of departmental competencies.
Qualifications
Education
Licensure & Certifications
Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License (MALIC).
ARRT certification in Radiography (RTR).
Current CPR certification.
Experience & Skills
Student clinical training accepted; prior professional diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
Strong ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Proficiency with CR/DR, PACS workflows, and adherence to infection-control standards.
