AI/ML DeveloperIntroduction

Zvolvant is currently seeking a Senior AI Developer to lead the design and implementation of advanced AI systems that support federal mission objectives. The focus will be on transforming Generative AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Agentic AI solutions into secure, enterprise-level deployments using Microsoft Azure AI technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LLM-powered applications utilizing Azure OpenAI.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Create agent-based and tool-using AI architectures.
• Engineer NLP pipelines for classification, summarization, and information extraction tasks.
• Build secure, containerized APIs using FastAPI and Docker.
• Deploy applications to Azure, including AKS or Azure Container Apps.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps.
• Enhance latency, observability, and optimize token costs.
• Mentor fellow developers and contribute to architectural standards.

RequirementsRequired Experience

• At least 8 years of software development experience.
• Minimum of 3 years building AI/ML systems.
• Proficient in Python development.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI.
• Experience constructing RAG architectures.
• Integration of vector databases such as Azure AI Search or FAISS.
• Deploying containerized applications on Azure platforms.
• Building production APIs, preferably using FastAPI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Semantic Kernel or LangChain.
• Background in designing agent-based AI systems.
