FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Type: Part Time or Full Time 

Starting Salary: $15.74-16.00 + tips + Benefits for full-time (health, dental, vision)

• Greet and seat guests promptly
• Learn menu so you can accurately describe and suggest items to guests
• Delivering food to tables
• Knowing the menu very well so you can take orders over the phone
• Accurately packaging takeout and delivery orders
• Pre-bussing, bussing and cleaning tables
• Washing dishes
• Cleaning restrooms
• Sweeping and mopping dining area and restrooms
• Overall providing a warm, friendly, welcoming and memorable guest experience; from warmly welcoming them into the restaurant upon arrival to thanking them and inviting them back when they leave, and everything in between.
• Basic Food Preparation
• General restaurant cleaning
• Assist teammates in other departments as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to listen, communicate, follow direction and execute effectively
• Able to multitask efficiently
• Strong organizational skills
• Punctual and reliable with a desire to work
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Able to lift 10-25lbs
• Posses a sense of urgency (physically moves and executes tasks quickly to get more done in shorter time)
• Is proactive and shows initiative, stays busy during slow periods.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handlings skills
• Has a sense of duty, obligation, responsibility for their scheduled shifts and to their teammates
• Experience as a Server, Waitress, or Waiter is a plus but will train any candidate with the right attitude and willingness to learn, regardless of experience
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends as these are the busiest times for a restaurant
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Patience and guest-oriented approach
• Can deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Maintains attentiveness to guests and anticipates their needs
