Job description

About the Role:
ZDR Garter Operations LLC is looking for a skilled and motivated Lead PM Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Tucson, AZ! This is your chance to take ownership of the evening line, lead a talented crew, and deliver consistently outstanding dishes in a fast-paced, energetic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee PM line cook staff during evening service to ensure smooth, efficient kitchen operations
  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Monitor food quality, proper prep levels,  consistency, and portion control throughout service
  • Coordinate line setup, mise en place, and station readiness before each shift
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and kitchen management during service
  • Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior line cooks and kitchen staff
  • Ensure proper kitchen closing duties are performed 
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant or food service environment
  • Prior lead or supervisory kitchen experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work efficiently and stay composed under pressure during peak service hours
  • Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to evening/PM shift availability
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
  • PM and weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) required
