Position SummaryThe Volunteer Chief Executive Officer serves as the organization’s highest-ranking executive responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of RISE Foundation while implementing the strategic vision established by the Founder & Chairman and Board of Directors.
This is an extraordinary opportunity to help build a nationally recognized nonprofit organization from its earliest stages.
The CEO will oversee organizational strategy, operations, fundraising, partnerships, executive leadership, financial stewardship, volunteer engagement, and long-term organizational growth.
The ideal candidate is an experienced executive, nonprofit leader, healthcare administrator, educator, entrepreneur, or business professional who is passionate about empowering young people and building a mission-driven organization with national impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and strengthen relationships with:

As a startup nonprofit organization, the Volunteer Chief Executive Officer position is initially unpaid. However, the Board of Directors recognizes the level of leadership, responsibility, and commitment required for this role and intends to transition the position into a compensated executive role as the Foundation achieves sustainable financial growth.
As funding becomes available through grants, philanthropic support, corporate sponsorships, earned revenue, major gifts, fundraising campaigns, and other sustainable revenue sources, the Board will periodically evaluate executive compensation.
Potential future executive compensation may includeAll executive compensation will be determined solely by the Board of Directors or its authorized compensation committee and will comply with all applicable nonprofit laws, IRS regulations, conflict‑of‑interest policies, and the Foundation’s financial resources. Compensation will never be based on a percentage of donations or fundraising proceeds.
