Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Maintenance Industrial Mechanic Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot complex machinery issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics utilizing tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other precision measuring instruments to identify faults in electrical systems and high voltage components.
- Repair or replace faulty parts on equipment such as motors, conveyors, HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades or modifications and support field service activities when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong background in industrial maintenance and mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated expertise with electrical troubleshooting, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical systems repair.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulic machinery, pneumatic systems troubleshooting, welding ( welding if applicable), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including low voltage and high voltage electrical work.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools accurately.
- Knowledge of schematics interpretation for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with equipment troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment using CMMS software.
- Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and non-technical personnel alike.
- Relevant certifications in electrical maintenance or industrial mechanic experience preferred; military background is a plus.
- Most have experience in industrial, manufacturing machine preferred plastic extrusion.
- Most be Bilingual.
