We are currently recruiting a Part-Time Junior High & High School Science Teacher for our General Studies Program.

Job Duties

Junior High and High School Science Teachers are responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based science instruction (including Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, or General Science curriculum) for students in middle and high school grades. Responsibilities include:

Instruction & Planning: Planning and submitting weekly lesson plans, delivering high-quality, hands-on science instruction, and integrating practical laboratory or experimental concepts where appropriate.

Classroom & Safety Management: Creating a safe, structured, and welcoming learning environment, including upholding safety standards for lab activities and demonstration environments.

Assessment & Differentiation: Assessing student understanding through formative and summative evaluations, using data to guide instruction, and differentiating lessons to meet diverse student needs.

Professional Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues, participating in staff trainings, and attending weekly meetings with the principal.

Communication & Professionalism: Communicating with parents on a regular basis, acting in a professional manner, and adhering to staff handbook mandates (including attendance and dress code).

Additional Duties: Completing other duties as assigned by school administration.
