Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist members, visitors, and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide information about YMCA programs, memberships, and services
- Handle member check-ins and registrations efficiently and accurately
- Respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Welcome Center area
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, phone coverage, and scheduling
- Promote YMCA programs and membership opportunities to encourage community engagement
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office and registration software
- Dependability and a positive attitude
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
