YBS Electrical LLC is seeking an Electrician to join its on-site team in Glen Allen, VA.

Position Summary

As an Electrician at YBS Electrical LLC, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You’ll work alongside experienced electricians to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with project requirements.

This role is a great fit for a skilled trades professional who enjoys hands-on work, or a motivated helper ready to learn and grow into more advanced electrical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical components and systems

• Run and pull wire, install conduit, mount fixtures, and help prepare materials for service calls and projects

• Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision while following job plans, instructions, and safety procedures

• Maintain jobsite organization by keeping tools secure, staging materials appropriately, and maintaining clean work areas

• Identify potential issues early and communicate clearly with the team to help keep projects on track

Required Qualifications

• Ability and willingness to work on active job sites and follow safety practices consistently

• Basic knowledge of electrical work and safe handling of tools and materials

• Physical capability to lift and move equipment, climb ladders, and work in varied positions for extended periods

• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and attention to detail

• Clear communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an electrician or electrical helper

• Familiarity with reading basic wiring diagrams, labels, and job instructions

• Demonstrated understanding of electrical safety practices on job sites

• Experience working in commercial environments

• Completion of relevant electrical training or coursework (if applicable)

Compensation

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $35.00
