Job Overview

Yana Caregiving is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Caregivers to join our growing team.

In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, person-centered care to seniors, veterans, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are committed to equipping our caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide exceptional care, including specialized training in supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and accurately document completed tasks.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Transport clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, and other essential errands.
• Assist clients with the self-administration of medications in accordance with agency policy.
• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in a client's physical or emotional condition.
• Support clients experiencing memory loss or cognitive impairment using person-centered dementia care techniques.
• Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility to meet client scheduling needs.
• Comply with all applicable Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and agency policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional standards of confidentiality, safety, and quality care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred (if applicable).
• Previous caregiving or home care experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or dementia is a plus, but not required.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing person-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred for transportation duties).
• Ability to pass required background screenings.

Training & Professional Development
