As a CNC Machine Repair Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving the equipment that keeps production moving. From troubleshooting servo drives and PLCs to rebuilding hydraulic systems and supporting automation, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance, engineering, and manufacturing teams in a facility that values technical expertise, continuous improvement, and craftsmanship.

⚙️ What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair CNC machine tool failures
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on CNC manufacturing equipment
  • Troubleshoot servo motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, and machine automation systems
  • Install, align, calibrate, and test CNC equipment
  • Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime
  • Replace worn or damaged mechanical and electrical components
  • Read electrical schematics, machine drawings, and OEM documentation
  • Maintain maintenance logs and equipment documentation
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability
  • Recommend equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support operators with equipment troubleshooting and proper machine care

  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and machine drawings
  • Experience with precision measuring and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

  • Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field
  • Experience with Okuma and Fanuc CNC controls
  • PLC troubleshooting experience
  • Industrial automation or robotics experience
  • OSHA safety training
  • CNC programming knowledge
