  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and validation of prototypes and production systems.
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams to ensure successful deployment of automative solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including schematics, design requirement specifications, CAD models, and test reports.
  • Evaluate new technologies, automation methods, sensors, and robotics platforms to improve system performance and reduce cost.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for system performance and reliability.
  • Travel as required for various field programs.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 7-10+ years of professional experience in mechatronics, robotics, or electromechanical system design.
  • Familiarity with robotic systems, actuators, sensors, and control systems.
  • Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Experience with embedded systems, PLCs, sensors, and industrial automation hardware.
  • Solid understanding of programming languages (Python, C++, or MATLAB) for robotics applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex engineering projects from concept through production.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AGVs, AMRs, or automated material-handling systems.
  • Knowledge of machine vision, AI-based inspection, or advanced sensing technologies.
  • Familiar with simulation tools (Gazebo, Nvidia Issac Sim, Matlab/Simulink, etc).
  • Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar frameworks.
  • Knowledge of automation systems and industrial robotics.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing hardware.
