Production  Tech - SeasonalDepartment: Live EntertainmentReports To: Entertainment LeadPosition Type: SeasonalAbout the JobProduction Technicians make Worlds of Fun come alive with the installation and operation of lights, sound, and other technical aspects of the park, including shows, parades, special events, and the atmosphere of the midways. Starting rate for this position is $15.50 with higher rate eligibility dependent upon skill level and experience. Why Work at Worlds of Fun?Free park admissionTeam member ride nights and special eventsFlexible schedulingOn‑the‑job paid training providedUniforms providedGreat opportunity to build skills in technical theaterWhat You'll DoWorking with a team to enhance park looks and sounds, creating the ultimate guest experience.Performing preventative maintenance on equipment.Constructing and installing new product in manner consistent with the artistic vision of park management, show producers and designers.Troubleshooting equipment and software problems and working to resolve any issues safely and efficiently.Assisting with load in and out of park activities, productions, and special events.Assisting guest artists, production crews, and other outside labor/materials as assigned.Preparing facilities for shows, special events, and daily activities and ensuring smooth operation.Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment for all involved.What We're Looking ForMinimum age requirement: 18Minimum 1 year of technical theatre experience, preferably in sound and/or lighting.Minimum beginner to intermediate knowledge of theatrical lighting and/or sound.Ability and willingness to learn and develop new skills and collaborate with a team to work towards project goals.Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances, lift, team lift, and carry technical equipment as well as work in high and/or low temperatures.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods and willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet business needs.Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.Ability to pass a background check which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.Other DutiesAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support park operations.Ready to Apply?Apply online at EnchantedParks.com/JobsEnchanted Parks is a Smoke‑Free, Drug‑Free Equal Opportunity Employer. No description uploaded.
