Position Overview: Elementary Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and collaborative Teacher to join our team. This is an opportunity to be part of an innovative school environment where curiosity is celebrated, and each child's voice matters.

Responsibilities:

• Embody and uphold the school's mission and core values
• Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with grade-level benchmarks
• Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports both academic and social-emotional growth
• Collaborate closely with co-teachers, specialists, and administrators
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with families and colleagues
• Participate in school-wide events, professional development, and reflection practices
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a spirit of openness and respect

Qualifications

Required:

• A passion for working with children and a belief in their potential
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning
• A positive, flexible attitude and a sense of humor

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, English, Spanish or a related field
• Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
• 2-7 years of relevant grade-level teaching experience
• Training in Project-Based Learning, Responsive Classroom, or child-led curriculum models
• Experience in differentiated instruction, phonics, and performance-based assessments
