Join WISIs collaborative Sales organization as an Account Manager, based out of our Pitt Meadows, BC head office, working in a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

This role is designed for an early to midcareer sales professional with a strong foundation in customer engagement and technologyled sales, who is ready to grow. The Account Manager will work closely with senior sales leaders and crossfunctional partners at WISI, developing the skills, market knowledge, and confidence needed to manage increasingly complex accounts and sales cycles over time.

Purpose of the Role

The Account Manager supports revenue growth and customer satisfaction by developing strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities within existing and prospective accounts, and aligning WISI solutions to customer needs.

This role is accountable for managing defined accounts and sales opportunities under the guidance of senior sales leadership, supporting sales execution, maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast data, and progressively developing the capability to lead more complex sales cycles.

This role does not carry full responsibility for strategic account ownership and is intended to develop into a Senior Account Manager role over time. Through handson experience, coaching, and exposure to real customer engagements, the Account Manager builds the capabilities required to progress into a senior sales role at WISI.


Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver against annual and quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of customer organizations, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Support and progressively lead complex sales cycles by identifying key stakeholders, leveraging internal advocates, and overcoming objections.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally within WISI to align resources and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and activity tracking in HubSpot CRM; contribute to monthly forecast updates and pipeline reviews.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend tailored solutions that improve reliability, reduce costs, and meet budget requirements.
  • Provide feedback to product management on market needs and product enhancements.


What Were Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the video processing, broadcast, telecommunications, or related technology industries, with experience supporting new business development efforts.
  • Foundational understanding of IP video and cable TV technologies, or a strong interest in learning the technical and market landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills that influence and inspire.
  • Highly organized, detailoriented, and selfmotivated, with a bias for action.
  • A true hunter mindsetpassionate about prospecting and expanding account reach.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Technical aptitude and a willingness to continuously learn and master WISIs product portfolio.
