Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be entrusted with a variety of impactful responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand clients’ mental health history and needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and goals.
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions using modalities suited to client preferences, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Establishing measurable therapeutic goals and continuously monitoring client progress to ensure effective outcomes.
• Offering teletherapy sessions to enhance accessibility for clients unable to attend in-person meetings.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Participating in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and support peer collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload may include a diverse array of clients, encompassing individuals of varying ages and backgrounds who seek assistance in navigating mental health challenges. Many clients present with concerns such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and life transitions. Tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each client is paramount for fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships and facilitating healing.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid state license as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience will be considered advantageous:

• Prior experience in a community health setting or private practice.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy methodologies.
• Comfortable working with a broad spectrum of mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

Wisdom Within Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
