Job description

FAIT DISTRIBUTION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS/ABILITIES:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA candidate preferred.

0-2 years of accounting experience or internship; strong desire to learn.

Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting cycle.

Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting systems preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.

Positive attitude, high integrity, and strong work ethic.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES - HOW THIS POSITION SUPPORTS THE VISION include the following, but are not limited to:

Assist with month-end close tasks including standard journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.

Maintain accurate supporting documentation for transactions and balance sheet accounts.

Support AP/AR and other accounting functions as needed (coverage and cross-training).

Participate in process documentation and continuous improvement activities.

Support audit requests by gathering and organizing and automate recurring work.

INDICATORS OF PERFORMANCE

Assigned reconciliations and tasks are accurate and completed on time.

Demonstrates consistent learning and progression in responsibilities.

Contributes to documentation and process improvement initiatives.
