Job description

Winpak Films is seeking Machine Operators to join the team based out of Senoia, GA on both either day or night shifts.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient machine operations, maximizing production efficiency, and ensuring that all procedures are followed. Your efforts will directly support Winpak's commitment to delivering high-quality packaging solutions for various industries, while maintaining the high standards of safety and excellence that define our company.
Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do:
  • Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle.
    • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed) to ensure optimal production.
    • Feed raw materials or parts into semi-automated machines.
    • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
    • Test the operation of machines periodically and make adjustments as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and fix issues during the shift to maintain machine operations.
    • Keep detailed records of approved and defective units or final products.

Required Qualifications/What is Required?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Ability to read tape measure, schematics, and manuals.
    • Strong understanding of production procedures and machinery.
    • Adherence to health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear.
    • Basic mathematical skills for measuring and adjusting machine settings.

Preferred Qualifications/What is Nice to Have?
  • Technical degree or certification in a related field.
    • Previous experience with high-speed machinery and measurement tools.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication skills.

Additional Details:
• This position is 100% onsite.
12-hour shifts (Day or Night shifts available).
Holidays and overtime may be required depending on production demands.
