Machine Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient material handling and ensure smooth operations within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of operating various types of equipment safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to move products and materials within the warehouse

- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency

- Learn to operate saws and additional machinery as required to support warehouse functions

- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly

- Assist in inventory management and proper storage of materials

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet operational demands

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience operating forklifts, cranes, and other warehouse equipment

- Ability to learn new machinery and adapt to different operational tasks

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary

- Basic understanding of safety procedures and protocols in a warehouse setting

 Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds 

 Must be proficient in reading tape measure down to 1/16th" 

 Must be able to work well in a warehouse environment with moving equipment 

 Must be self-motivated, seeking next task rather than having to be told 

 Must have warehouse and machine operating experience
