Great client looking for a Senior Construction Project Manager in Columbus, OH.
The Senior Project Manager position includes regular travel to project sites.

Essential Responsibilities
- Manage all facets of multiple, concurrent commercial construction projects from inception through to the completion of construction.
- Interface with clients and brokers on new project requirements.
- Assist in the review of Leases and Work Letters as it pertains to construction related items.
- Day-to-day involvement in directly managing multiple ongoing complex construction projects.
- Manage up to two internal project managers/project engineers in support of ongoing projects.
- Develop initial project budgets and schedules for multiple types of projects of different sizes and complexities.
- Manage project progress against approved budgets, timelines and client directed goals.
- Assemble, manage and coordinate project teams required to complete projects. This typically includes the entire design team, general contractor, furniture vendor and other client vendors.
- Managing change order, invoicing, tenant improvement allowance reimbursement and project close-out processes.
- Actual compensation within the $150,000 - $190,000 range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. This range includes a base salary only and is not reflective of a total compensation package.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in Complex/Technical projects- Preferred if have Defense Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace project experience.
- Experience with Hardware Technology and Advanced Manufacturing related projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading new construction and tenant improvement projects.
- Experience with Design-Build projects is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing people internally and externally.
- Applicants should be highly proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project.
- Must be a self-starter and possess a strong ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Able to establish and maintain a strong working relationship with client(s) and internal partners.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be local to Columbus, OH.
- This position involves a combination of in-office and onsite work.
- The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry. We are looking for candidates who have served in Construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager type roles.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college required, preferably in a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, polished and a proud representative for the client.
- Regular travel as required to support client projects.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project proficiency.
