Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wickersley Care Group, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and developing tailored treatment plans based on client needs and preferences.
  • Providing crisis intervention strategies, including the development of pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and positive behavior support strategies.
  • Maintaining consistent, high-quality clinical documentation that adheres to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Collaborating with team members to implement effective behavior support plans and enhance the overall care experience for clients.
  • Engaging in relevant licensing and accreditation processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Serving as an essential liaison between clients, state agencies, and relevant service systems, providing referrals and support as needed.
  • Building and sustaining strong communication channels to uphold the organization's mission and community engagement initiatives.
  • Developing strategic partnerships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to expand services and improve client outcomes.
  • Participating in professional development activities, such as workshops, conferences, and state meetings pertinent to your field of expertise.
  • Championing the mission and values of Wickersley Care Group within the community and among colleagues.
  • Performing additional tasks as delegated by the Clinic Director, contributing to the cohesive functioning of the clinical team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Licensed Mental Health Counselor position will possess the following qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits
