The Opportunity

This is a ground-floor role at a company that is just getting started. There is no ceiling here — no rigid corporate ladder, no waiting years for a title change. As we grow, the people who show up early and put in the work grow with us: into senior producer roles, team lead positions, and eventually agency leadership. Your trajectory is determined by your effort and results, not your tenure or a org chart drawn up somewhere else.

What You'll Do

•    Make up to 50 calls per day bringing in new clients while also providing white glove service to existing clients

•    Serve as the first point of contact for clients, acting as a true concierge — understanding their needs and matching them with the right coverage (auto, home, life, and commercial lines).

•    Build and manage a book of business through inbound leads, referrals, and your own prospecting efforts.

•    Guide clients through quoting, binding, renewals, and claims support with a high-touch, relationship-first approach.

•    Own the full sales cycle — from first contact to policy issuance to long-term account retention.

•    Help shape processes, scripts, and systems as an early member of a startup team; your feedback directly influences how the company operates.

•    Stay current on carrier products, underwriting guidelines, and Ohio insurance regulations.

What You'll Need

•    Active Ohio insurance producer license (Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health) required.

•    A genuine startup mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, fast pivots, and wearing multiple hats.

•    Strong communication and relationship-building skills — you make people feel taken care of.

•    Self-motivation and grit. This role rewards people who go the extra mile without being told to.

•    Prior insurance sales or client service experience is a plus, but drive matters more than years on paper.

The Schedule

This is not a 9-to-5 role, and we're upfront about that. Startups move fast and win through the hours and hustle the team is willing to put in — early mornings, evenings, and some weekends should be expected, especially in the early stages of building your book. In exchange, you get real ownership, direct access to leadership, and a shot at growth that a typical 40-hour agency job simply can't offer. Compensation & Growth

•    Base salary plus uncapped commission — your earning potential grows directly with your production, with no cap. You should make NLT than 75k but over time get to 150k+.
