Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hostess Server role based at Wheat+Water Italian Kitchen in Bradenton, FL. The Hostess Server will greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and coordinate seating to optimize table turnover while maintaining a comfortable flow in the dining area. Responsibilities include guiding guests to their tables, presenting menus, assisting servers with delivering food and beverages, and ensuring that guests’ needs are promptly addressed. The role also involves answering phone calls, providing accurate information about the menu and restaurant, and supporting the front-of-house team with opening and closing duties. The Hostess Server is expected to maintain high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest service throughout each shift.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Candidates should demonstrate solid Teamwork skills to collaborate with hosts, servers, and kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should have basic technical aptitude; experience with C++ is not required but comfort using reservation or POS systems is beneficial.
• Previous experience in restaurant hosting or serving, or in hospitality, is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and maintain composure during busy service times.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a professional, guest-focused attitude.
