High Frequency Trading Database Developer We are a cutting edge, high-frequency trading firm based in New York City. We are looking for an exceptional and talented database developer to join our team.

We are looking for a candidate who will step in and take ownership of the development and administration of our database systems. This involves automation and reporting of all accounting systems, including the ability to trace orders throughout the system. This position requires extensive SQL experience as well as knowledge of some scripting languages for automation.

Qualifications: Database and SQL expert including Postgresql knowledge/experience. Provide leadership in data modeling, object development, and reporting. Working knowledge of Ruby, Perl, Bash, Python or other scripting languages.

Extensive experience in a Unix/Linux environment. Database administration experience. Preferably 3 to 5 years of database development or related experience.

Experience in accounting a plus. Experience in a back office financial services setting highly desired. Strong interpersonal skills a must.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well in a dynamic and collaborative setting. Ability to adjust to continuously changing needs and circumstances.
