Position Overview

West Valley Health System PC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Orlando, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, uncovering both strengths and challenges.
• Provide a range of therapeutic modalities including individual, family, and group therapy suited to the unique needs of each client.
• Employ evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to support client progress.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans that outline goals, interventions, and methods for monitoring progress.
• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals to ensure that care is holistic and fully coordinated.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including thorough risk assessments and safety planning tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Advocate on behalf of clients, connecting them with vital community resources and providing necessary case management support.
• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with seeking help.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with span diverse backgrounds and demographics, each with unique mental health challenges. Your role will involve supporting individuals in crisis, managing ongoing mental health conditions, and helping families navigate complex emotional landscapes. Your expertise will facilitate a deeper understanding of their needs and empower them toward recovery and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills are essential for providing effective care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a community mental health setting or an equivalent therapeutic environment is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of cultural competence and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits
