Position Overview

Wellspring Shift Wellness is seeking dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our expanding team. This full-time position allows you to deliver high-quality behavioral healthcare from the comfort of your home, as well as in our welcoming outpatient office located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. With a competitive salary range between USD 75,000 and 100,000 per year, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wellspring Shift Wellness, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the needs of individuals, couples, and families.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and therapeutic support to clients, addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, conflicts among family members, and communication difficulties.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions, using your expertise to comprehend family dynamics and promote healing.
• Work collaboratively with clients, guiding them through personalized treatment plans based on their specific circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices in behavioral health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a diverse patient population, including adults and children/adolescents. You will provide therapy for families facing challenges such as separation, blended family dynamics, job stress, and adjustment to medical issues. Your expertise will support clients through significant life transitions, equipping them with the tools to navigate their circumstances effectively.

Qualifications

To be a successful applicant, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Active and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality clinical care and an understanding of ethical practices in therapy.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be advantageous for candidates:

• Experience in telehealth service delivery alongside traditional in-person therapy sessions.
• Demonstrated expertise working with specific populations or issues relevant to family dynamics.
