Wellesley Town Hall

The Town of Wellesley is seeking applicants for a full-time (35 hours/week) Assistant Town Clerk. The incumbent provides supervisory and administrative support in assisting the Town Clerk discharge the duties of the office including, but not limited to, the maintenance of vital records, licensing and permits, records management, budget management, database management and elections management. Thorough knowledge of Town Clerk's operations and office functions preferred. Candidates for this position must demonstrate exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills; customer service skills; and multitasking and project management support skills.
Minimum qualifications are an associate's degree with two years of office and customer service experience preferably in a municipal setting; ability to obtain certification as a Notary Public, demonstrated organizational skills; the ability to prioritize workflow; detailed oriented; proficiency with MS Office applications; and proficiency with MUNIS a plus.
The salary range is $73,542 - $99,114 annually, the anticipated hiring range is $73,542 - $84,226, depending on qualifications.
