Job description

We have an immediate need for an IT Support Techncian at our Greeneville, TN headquarters. The shift will be Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm and the hourly rate will be in the $23 - $26/hr. range depending on experience. The position has the potential for contract to hire.


Overview:
The IT Support Technician provides technical support to employees across the organization. This role is focused on helping users solve everyday technology problems, keeping equipment running smoothly, and delivering friendly, reliable service to the business.
Duties Include:
• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with PCs, printers, and other peripherals.
• Set up, configure, and image computers and devices for new and existing employees.
• Assist with creating and updating user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Support employees with password resets, email issues, and basic application questions.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and hardware replacements.

Preferred Skills and requirements:
• Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Ability to troubleshoot common PC, printer, and network connectivity issues.
• Strong customer service skills with a helpful, patient, and professional attitude.
 • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in IT or a related field is a plus.
• 6+ months of experience in an IT support, help desk, or customer service role
• Experience with:
   • Windows 10/11
   • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
   • Help desk ticketing systems (any)
   • Printer and peripheral setup

Must be able to pass criminal background check.
