Job description

Estate Planning Attorney – Full Time (Santa Fe)

In-Person Only

We are seeking a full-time Estate Planning Attorney to join our team and manage our Walk-In Wills office in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position is ideal for a personable, organized, and self-motivated attorney who enjoys working closely with clients in a casual yet fast-paced environment.

Most of the work is client interaction-based, involving consultations in person, over the phone, and occasionally through home visits. You'll provide legal advice, explain our estate planning services, and help clients collect information regarding wills, trusts, and other essential documents.

This is a casual office setting where professionalism is key, but suits are not required—business attire is appropriate (no need for a full suit and tie).

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client consultations to assess estate planning needs
  • Explain and sell estate planning packages, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Review legal documents
  • Provide legal advice and handle basic probate matters
  • Ensure compliance with New Mexico legal and ethical standards

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the New Mexico State Bar
  • Experience in probate is a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with legal documents
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and explain legal concepts clearly
  • Comfortable managing office responsibilities independently
  • Public Notary commission is a plus — if you are not currently a notary, we can help you become one

This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, close-knit team and make a meaningful difference by helping clients plan for their futures in a flexible and welcoming environment.

Compensation is commission-based and tied to performance — the more estate planning packages you sell, the more you earn.
