X-Ray Technologist:

Location: Wadsworth-Rittman
Address: 195 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, OH 44281

 Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to provide diagnostic radiographic services at our Wadsworth-Rittman location. The technologist will operate radiologic equipment, properly position patients, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure procedures are completed efficiently and safely.

 Schedule:
  • 40 hours/week
  • 5x8-hour shifts
  • Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Every other weekend: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Interview Required
  • Candidates must provide their available interview dates and times.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible
  • Must hold a State of Ohio Radiographer License
  • 2+ years of X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist experience required
  • Successful completion of training for additional radiology procedures, including selected CT procedures, as applicable
  • Current BLS(AHA) certification
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiologic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs.
  • Properly position and assist patients during examinations.
  • Lift and position patients safely and utilize appropriate restraining devices when necessary.
  • Calibrate and operate radiologic equipment according to established procedures.
  • Process and maintain patient records accurately and promptly.
  • Utilize hospital and radiology computer systems and filing systems.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
  • Initiate CPR when required.
  • Perform additional radiology-related duties consistent with training and demonstrated competency.
  • Provide respectful, patient-centered care while maintaining patient dignity.

Must Have: ARRT BLS (AHA)
