WT Group AEC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. This individual will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining the technology infrastructure that powers our engineering, architectural, and construction operations across the United States.

Our environment is heavily technology-driven and includes Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, Windows Server infrastructure, robust networking and security solutions, cloud collaboration tools, and industry-leading AEC software platforms. We are looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive, customer-service oriented, and passionate about technology.

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including:
• Exchange Online
• Teams
• SharePoint
• OneDrive
• Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Intune and MFA policies
• Manage and maintain:
• Windows Server environments
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• DNS/DHCP
• Hypervisors and Virtual Machines
• VMware vSphere / vCenter environments / Nutanix
• VSAN and storage infrastructure
• Support and troubleshoot:
• Desktop and laptop hardware
• Windows 10/11 operating systems
• Printers and peripherals
• Mobile devices
• Remote user connectivity and VPN access
• Configure and support Fortinet/FortiGate networking and security products including:
• Firewalls
• VPN tunnels
• VLANs
• Security policies
• Wireless networking
• Provide support for industryspecific software platforms including:
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• ETABS
• Trimble products
• Bluebeam
• Adobe Creative Cloud
• SaaSbased business applications
• Monitor and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity systems.
• Provide both inperson and remote technical support to employees and project teams across multiple office locations.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes, hardware deployments, software licensing, and asset management.
• Participate in IT projects including:
• Infrastructure upgrades
• Cloud migrations
• Cybersecurity initiatives
• Office expansions
• System implementations
• Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Systems Engineering, or IT Infrastructure Support.
• Strong experience with:
• Microsoft 365 Administration
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• VMware/vSphere environments
• Virtual Machines and storage technologies
• Fortinet/FortiGate products
• Experience supporting engineering and design software environments is highly preferred.
Understanding of:
• Networking concepts
• Cybersecurity best practices
• Backup and disaster recovery methodologies
• SaaS application management
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple initiatives, and work independently.
• Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support both executive leadership and end users.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) environments
• Firewall experience and or certifications
• Microsoft certifications
• VMware certifications
• Experience with Veeam backup solutions
• Experience with SharePoint and Teams administration
