The Brokerage Account Manager is expected to fulfill their responsibilities with integrity while supporting the overall mission and needs of WJW Associates as directed or requested by management. The Brokerage Account Manager will be responsible for managing the movement of freight for existing and new customers.


Job Duties:
 To maintain integrity in all actions without exception as an employee of WJW
 To work on creating greater revenue opportunities through account penetration of current WJW Accounts
 To enhance the overall profitability of WJW
 To understand the rules and regulations of hours of service and how they affect the ability to service customer freight when speaking to potential outside carriers
 To use the dispatch system effectively and to update it with information regarding all loads as check calls are made
 To provide routing, guidance and assistance to outside carriers to ensure the smooth, efficient pickup and delivery of customer goods
 To communicate with both customers and carriers on a regular basis for each load under dispatch
 To meet financial targets of WJW on a weekly basis
 To support sales efforts in pricing, emailing, customer service, etc.
 To assist with load planning for terminal/company through interaction with sales/contract dispatch/management
 To assist with contract operations and other needs of the company whenever required
 To act in the best interest of WJW customers, WJW the company and the employees of WJW at all times
 To always maintain professional communication with stakeholders of WJW
 To communicate openly, honestly and effectively in both written and oral communication, and to provide feedback to management and sales when issues arise
