Job description

About the Role:
Join WHALEN TENTS INC as a Laborer/Driver and be a key player in delivering exceptional service and quality products to our clients. This dynamic role combines hands-on labor with driving responsibilities, making it perfect for those who enjoy variety in their workday.

Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload tents and equipment for events and installations.
  • Drive company vehicles to transport materials and staff to job sites.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of tents and related equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients on-site.
  • Perform routine inspections of vehicles and report any issues.
  • Support the team in various labor tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in labor-intensive roles, preferably in the events industry.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
