Job description

WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an Electrical Technician in our Panel Shop. You will be responsible for wiring, testing, and troubleshooting the panels that control equipment such as motors, compressors.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Wires electrical controls panels following layout, work instructions, and appropriate standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to properly wire control panels.
  • Assist line specialist with training of new employees.
  • Work independently with very little direction from Line Specialist or Supervisor

Education:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ year of wiring experience - Required
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics - Required
  • Use power tools - Required
  • Use basic hand tools (Screwdriver, wire strippers, socket sets) - Required
