Position: Business Development RepresentativeAbout Us: WCD Global Inc. is a growing healthcare-focused company dedicated to providing healthcare products and exceptional service to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, medical facilities, and other organizations across Canada.As we continue to expand our customer base and product offerings, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing directly to company growth.Position Overview: The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers, generating new business opportunities, and supporting the sales pipeline through proactive outreach. The successful candidate will be comfortable making outbound calls and communicating with decision-makers, understanding customer needs, and introducing WCD Global Inc.'s products and services. The ideal candidate is energetic, confident, organized, and motivated by achieving sales targets.Job Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: $52,000/year + CommissionWork Location: Vaughan, OntarioSchedule: 8:30 am-5:00 pm, 40 hours/weekResponsibilities: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other outreach activities to identify and engage prospective customers.Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, prospecting, and follow-up.Research potential customers and identify opportunities for WCD Global Inc.'s products and services.Introduce the company, products, and services to prospective customers professionally.Qualify leads by understanding customer needs, purchasing requirements, and potential business opportunities.Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to move qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.Schedule meetings and sales conversations for qualified prospects with the appropriate sales team members.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, customer interactions, and sales activities in the company's CRM system.Track outreach activities, follow-ups, and pipeline progress.Collaborate with Account Managers and other members of the sales team to support customer acquisition and growth initiatives.Stay informed about company products, services, pricing, and relevant industry developments.Provide feedback to the sales team regarding customer needs, market trends, and prospect responses.Meet or exceed established activity and business development targets.Perform other sales and administrative duties as assigned.Requirements:Previous experience in business development, sales, customer service, or a related role is an asset.Background in healthcare-related fields (Health Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Kinesiology, Home health care etc.) is considered an asset but not required.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations with prospective customers.Strong ability to build rapport and establish relationships with prospective customers.Results-oriented with a strong interest in achieving sales targets.Strong follow-up and time-management skills.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a sales team.Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning CRM and other business software.What we OfferCompetitive base salary plus Commission.Health BenefitsPaid Vacation TimeHands-on experience in medical sales, customer service, and healthcare distribution.Opportunity to grow within a developing sales teamCollaborative and professional work environment WCD Global welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
