About the Role: 
Join WBM INC as a FANUC Lathe Setup Man in Wheeling, IL, where precision meets innovation. Be part of a dynamic team that values expertise and craftsmanship in machining. 

 
Responsibilities: 
  • Set up and operate FANUC lathes to produce high-quality components.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering to optimize machining processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the setup and operation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards.
  • Document setup processes and maintain accurate production records.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on FANUC lathe operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Requirements:
 
  • Proven experience in setting up and operating FANUC lathes.
  • Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards in machining operations.
