Mold Deck CrewBuild the Foundation of Every Casting

At Wabash Castings, every quality casting starts with a quality mold. As a member of our Mold Deck Crew, you'll play a critical role in preparing molds for the casting process by placing cores, inspecting components, and ensuring every mold is ready for molten aluminum.

If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in doing things right, and want to be part of a team that builds products used around the world, we'd like to meet you.

What You'll Do
  • Set sand cores into molds with precision using both hand tools and core-setting equipment
  • Inspect molds and cores to ensure quality before casting
  • Install filters and prepare molds for production
  • Remove excess sand using air wands and drill arms
  • Identify quality concerns and communicate them to your supervisor
  • Follow work instructions and safety procedures
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We're Looking For

You'd be a great fit if you:

  • Have at least one year of manufacturing experience
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Work well with others and communicate effectively
  • Pay attention to detail and take pride in quality work
  • Can follow written work instructions
  • Enjoy physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
