We are a growing management company located in Seattle Washington and looking for an in-house attorney to over see contract, contract enforcement, dispute resolution and litigation when necessary.

We grow by providing strong staff expertise, proven methods, proprietary software and other technology.

Initially the job can be full-time OR part-time (your choice) 20 to 40 hours per week. In either case. we are looking for a strategic and energetic attorney to be a valued executive and part of our team, as we grow and expand. We need a trusted attorney on staff.

You must be licensed in Washington State, be located in or near Seattle, and within easy driving distance to our office on Seattle's Capitol Hill. In person meetings would be rare. There is easy parking and handy transit. Office is a few blocks from light-rail.

THE WORK

We are s mall group of professionals of various backgrounds, now seeking another pro to handle legal. You need NOT have extensive experience in all topics because many subjects will be infrequent but must have the ability to review, study and make recommendations as to how to proceed on some matters, then manage the matters.

Usually matters are of small to medium. Should litigation arise you would handle court preparation, motions, representation, and appearances personally, unless they required special expertise. In that case you would manage outside counsel.

THE COMPENSATION

To start, we expect to pay between $100,000 - $150,000 per year as an independent contractor (proportional if part-time), PLUS bonuses paid monthly..

THE LOCATION

This position can be hybrid, remote, or in-office job and you would became a valued executive in our small management company. Even if remote, it would be necessary to attend some meetings in office. We are located in the trendy Pike Pine neighborhood on Capitol Hill. If you choose to work in office sometimes, you would be welcome to use that office full time or for other clients as you see fit.

We are located in a trendy art-loft type warehouse building on Seattle's Capital hill. Ours is an informal work place, with divided work space and conference room that you could use and all business services such as phones, copier/fax, high speed Internet, and some clerical help.
