THE SCHEDULE (READ THIS FIRST)

We are hiring one person to cover both of our locations. The days do not overlap, so you are never driving between sites in the same shift.

• • • Summerville: Tuesday and Thursday, 4:00pm to 9:00pm
    • Mt. Pleasant: Wednesday, 4:00pm to 9:00pm, plus one weekend day (you pick the time, we are flexible)

That is roughly 20 hours a week on a schedule that does not change week to week. If both locations work for you, you are exactly who we are looking for and your application goes to the top of the pile.

ABOUT VIVID CLEANING SOLUTIONS

We clean veterinary and healthcare facilities in Summerville and Mt. Pleasant. That means our work happens in spaces where cleanliness is not cosmetic. It affects the health and safety of animals, patients, and the people caring for them. Our standards are higher than a typical cleaning job and our training is more thorough because of it.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Reliability comes first. Our clients count on us to show up on time, every shift. If you commit to a schedule, we need you there. If you have a track record of consistent attendance at your current or previous job, say so in your application. References that confirm your attendance and reliability carry serious weight with us.

We believe cleaning is more than pushing a broom. You are part of our client's team. We practice unreasonable hospitality: we want our clients to walk into their space every morning and feel genuinely glad to be there, so they can do their own work well.

Beyond reliability, our ideal teammate:

• Takes real pride in thorough work, not "good enough"

• Is comfortable around animals and in medical settings
• Has reliable transportation to both Summerville and Mt. Pleasant
• Can pass a background screening
• Has prior cleaning, janitorial, or housekeeping experience (preferred, but we will train the right person)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will work alongside our Team Lead and fellow team members, with our Operations Manager training you and checking quality.

• Clean and disinfect exam rooms, treatment areas, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces using facility-specific checklists
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided)
• Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and consumables
• Follow sanitation and infection control procedures built for healthcare and animal care environments
• Flag issues, maintenance needs, and supply shortages to your team lead
• Make sure every space is client-ready before you leave

PAY

• Entry level (0 to 2 years experience): $14 to $16/hr
• Experienced cleaner (3+ years): $16 to $19/hr
• Team Lead / Supervisor: $17 to $19/hr

Leadership roles are filled from within first. As we add contracts, early team members get first look at lead and supervisory positions.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

We move fast because good candidates do not wait around. If we are a fit, you can be working within a week of applying.

2. Phone screen. A 10 to 15 minute call about the role, your availability, and whether this is a good mutual fit.
3. Zoom interview. Formal 15 to 30 minute interview with both owners.
4. Background Check completed
5. Paid orientation and trial shift. You see the work firsthand, we see how you work. You get paid either way.
