Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vitas Wellness Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health through interviews and standardized tools to effectively identify their needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and ongoing assessments.
• Providing individual therapy sessions, using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy, or mindfulness-based approaches, tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Facilitating teletherapy sessions to reach clients who prefer virtual engagement or face difficulties in accessing face-to-face appointments.
• Engaging clients in goal-setting and progress monitoring to ensure that therapy remains aligned with their evolving needs.
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to comply with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Taking part in regular peer consultations and supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting and therapeutic relationship with clients.
• A compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor that fosters a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage your caseload and associated documentation.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome candidates from various backgrounds, preference will be given to individuals with:

• Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling.
• Background in trauma-informed care or specialized coaching in behavioral therapy.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with your experience and caseload management. Our benefits package includes:
