Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough one-on-one acupuncture consultations to assess patient needs and create individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
• Administer acupuncture treatments and engage in group acupuncture sessions, ensuring each patient's comfort and addressing any concerns during the treatment process.
• Utilize electronic medical records to document detailed visit summaries, track patient progress, and outline follow-up plans to enhance ongoing patient care.
• Deliver educational presentations on the benefits and principles of acupuncture to patients, community groups, and clinic staff, fostering a deeper understanding of holistic health practices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies, share insights, and collaborate on comprehensive treatment plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may vary based on patient and organizational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients at Vista Community Center primarily consist of outpatients seeking relief from various conditions such as chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and various health imbalances. While the majority of your work will be with outpatients, there may be opportunities to provide care for hospitalized patients, broadening your impact and experience within the healthcare system.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Acupuncture or a related field from an ACAOM-accredited program.
• Current acupuncture license in the state of Nevada, ensuring you meet all regulatory standards to practice safely and effectively.
• Strong commitment to professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and patient interactions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate treatment plans and concepts both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acupuncture, demonstrating a track record of effective patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems for patient documentation and management.
• Experience providing education and outreach to various community groups and patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
