Responsibilities:
  • Generate a continuous flow of potential sales leads by creating and implementing a strategic sales and marketing plan.
  • Develop the broker and consultant channel to drive business leads and to ensure intermediaries understand Vision's value proposition.
  • Ensure Vision's products and services are competitively priced and meet the company's financial objectives by working with the Executive team and Finance to develop pricing strategies for all products and services.
  • Close sales and provide valuable product information to marketing and new product development by skillfully communicating information internally and externally about the company's products and services.
  • Collaborate with marketing on sales collateral, marketing campaigns and PR.
  • Minimize effects of competitive activity by researching, analyzing and monitoring financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Any and all responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in the work life, human services, benefits or healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the Employee Assistance or work/life industry a plus.
  • Goal driven with a record of accomplishments in sales to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Ability to develop quantifiable sales goals with detailed tactics so to accomplish the goals within a specified time frame.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining broker, consultant and client relationships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50% of time.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong situational and strategic problem solving skills.
