VirtuCare is seeking a board-certified Urologist to join their team in Nashville, TN, focusing on expanding access to specialized urologic care through innovative synchronous and asynchronous telehealth models. This role combines advanced surgical practice with a mission-driven approach to deliver high-quality, efficient care, particularly for underserved populations. The position offers the opportunity to redefine care delivery by eliminating geographic barriers and improving outcomes.

Practice Info

• Nashville-based regional role with a defined service area
• APP-led clinic model at partner sites where Advanced Practice Providers manage clinic operations, evaluate patients, and coordinate/schedule procedures in advance
• Procedurally focused position with an established referral base and pre-scheduled cases to support immediate productivity
• Block scheduling model to group procedural days efficiently and minimize fragmented travel
• Dedicated OR time at partner hospitals, ensuring consistency and surgical efficiency
• Reduced administrative and practice management burden, allowing physicians to focus on clinical care

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urologic care, including diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of conditions
• Perform advanced and minimally invasive surgical procedures, including robotic surgery
• Conduct patient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Contribute to innovative care delivery models, including telehealth integration
• Provide procedural coverage across multiple partner hospitals within the region
• Help expand access to care for underserved and rural populations

Shift & Schedule

• Travel up to approximately 2 hours from Nashville for scheduled procedural days
• Approximately 20 days per month of procedural coverage across multiple partner hospitals

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology
• Expertise in diagnosing and managing complex urologic conditions
• Strong surgical experience, including minimally invasive and robotic techniques
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient-centered care approach
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved communities
