Saw Operator – 2nd Shift | $17/hr | Temp-to-Hire
Location: Arlington, TX
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:15 PM
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Industry: Manufacturing / Metal Fabrication

VIP Staffing is hiring a Saw Operator for an established manufacturing company in Arlington, TX. This is a great temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with manufacturing, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience who is comfortable working with measurements and production equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial saw equipment to cut raw material to required specifications.
  • Set saw programs to the correct length and track material quantities.
  • Verify material type, tags, and diameter before cutting.
  • Measure material accurately using appropriate measuring tools.
  • Complete traceability tags, routers, and daily production/cut sheets.
  • Provide first-piece samples to Quality Control for approval.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with material handlers, quality personnel, and production leads.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read and understand measurements, including length, width, weight, and diameter.
  • Previous machine operator, saw operator, metal manufacturing, or related production experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Dependable transportation and consistent attendance are required.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday from 2:30 PM–11:15 PM.
